Memorial Day laying of wreaths is scheduled for Monday at 9:30 at the Park.  This special ceremony is to honor and remember the men and women who have.given their lives in the service to our nation, especially the service members from Jackson County whose names are recorded on the Honor Wall.  The wreaths serve as symbols of respect, remembrance and tribute.  The ceremony will last for about 15 minutes and chairs will be available.  Refreshments will be served at the Post home immediately following the ceremony.   Then at 11 AM, a special longer program is scheduled for Collins Elementary school (Old High School).  Patriotic music will begin at 10:45.
